Environmentally considerate material "LIMEX" | By quantifying the reduction of plastic usage and CO2 emissions, we support companies in communicating their environmental initiatives externally.

TBM is a startup aiming to achieve decarbonization and a circular society through its environmentally friendly material "LIMEX," which serves as an alternative to plastic and paper, and through its business promoting resource circulation. The environmentally friendly material "LIMEX" can be used not only for extrusion molding and inflation molding but also for vacuum forming and injection molding. It has been introduced at international conferences such as COP and G20, and is registered on UNIDO's (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) sustainable technology dissemination platform as an excellent Japanese technology. "LIMEX" includes "LIMEX Pellet," which serves as an alternative to plastic, and "LIMEX Sheet," which can replace petroleum-derived plastic sheets, synthetic paper, and paper. Currently, it is adopted by over 10,000 companies and municipalities as alternatives to various plastic products and printed paper products, including bags, food containers, stationery, toys, household goods, packaging, and labels. (*As of November 2022, including the number of registered business locations) The environmental impacts arising from the product's life cycle are being addressed through LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) to visualize and mitigate those impacts.
