**Device Overview** The core of the AT-BC system, the AT-BC device, was developed from an improved rotating body of the rotating disk method, which is a type of activated sludge. The rotating body, which serves as the heart of the rotating disk, had a structural flaw where the metal parts would corrode rapidly when immersed in wastewater for extended periods. Additionally, it also had the drawback of microorganisms adhering to the rotating body detaching all at once, leading to a decrease in processing capacity. To address these shortcomings of the rotating body, the AT-BC device was developed. The rotating body of the AT-BC device features a three-dimensional mesh structure made from a vinylidene chloride fiber, the same material used in Asahi Kasei's Saran Wrap, processed into a gourd shape. This design successfully eliminated the metal parts that cause corrosion from the rotating body. Furthermore, by allowing microorganisms to adhere within the three-dimensional mesh structure, it has become possible to prevent the simultaneous detachment of microorganisms.

【Expansion】 The issues of "insufficient capacity of treatment facilities" and "difficulty in expansion due to lack of installation space" can be resolved in one go by simply placing the AT-BC device on top of the existing tank! It significantly enhances wastewater treatment capacity at a low cost. Our company proposes a system that can significantly reduce power consumption, chemical costs, and industrial waste disposal fees through the use of grease-decomposing agents and a rotating biological contact method. By introducing the "rotating biological contact device" as a pretreatment system before the aeration tank, it is possible to remove over 65% of BOD. "Habuki" is a new water treatment device that utilizes the rotational biological contact method. It is compact and low-power while having high processing capacity, allowing for a reduction in water treatment costs compared to conventional OD methods. With "Habuki," we aim to optimize facility scale and eliminate running costs, contributing to solving our customers' challenges. With this intention, we released "Habuki" in 2024.
