We are pleased to announce that our company has developed the compact relay connector "NST Series" for factory automation (FA) equipment, such as robots, which are rapidly expanding in the market. Sample provision will begin in July 2022. As factory automation progresses, industrial robots are diversifying into collaborative types and tabletop types, with advancements in miniaturization, lightweight design, and multi-axis capabilities. Consequently, there is an increasing need for wiring in confined spaces, leading to various demands for connectors in terms of size and work efficiency. The newly developed "NST Series" is a relay connector suitable for internal wiring in these confined spaces, with the following features: - Compact: The outer diameter and overall length when mated are among the smallest in the industry. - Excellent wiring workability: A slim circular shape with minimal protrusions, an anti-mis-insertion mechanism, a locking sound during insertion, and color-coded insulator sections enhance workability. - Robust: A lock lever breakage prevention structure prevents unintended damage. We anticipate that this will be widely used not only in robots but also in miniaturized FA equipment such as servo motors. We will continue to expand our product lineup, including variations in the number of cores, to cater to a broader range of applications.

We are pleased to announce that our company has developed the HDRP series, a type of the HDR series 0.8mm pitch interface connector with increased current capacity, which will be available for sale starting in May 2022. The HDR series 0.8mm pitch interface connector, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary since its launch, is widely used in various fields, including industrial equipment such as FA devices and semiconductor manufacturing equipment, as well as communication infrastructure and medical applications. Its adoption has been expanding in response to the growing demand for compact designs. The newly developed HDRP series is an I/O connector that maintains the small size and high robustness characteristic of the HDR series while achieving increased current capacity. Typically, connectors have a reduced current capacity proportional to their pitch. This product expands the current capacity from 0.5A to 1.0A-1.5A while retaining the industry’s smallest size and robust locking mechanism for a 0.8mm pitch I/O connector, thereby catering to a wider range of needs. In the future, we will enhance our product lineup to meet customer needs by expanding the number of pins, creating anti-insertion prevention keys, and developing dedicated cases that correspond to these features.
