This is a probe-type temperature and humidity sensor that integrates a capacitive humidity sensing element with a platinum temperature measuring low-resistance circuit. Only the small sensing part is exposed to the outside air, while all electronic circuits are protected inside a dustproof and waterproof metal case. Additionally, the capacitive sensing part is covered with a micron filter to protect it from dust, dirt, and condensation. Even when used in harsh environments, the sensor part can be appropriately cleaned with purified water along with the main unit to restore accuracy. High-performance A/D converters (16-bit) are implemented in pairs for every 100 channels, allowing simultaneous processing of two channels at a time. This significantly improves the relationship between measurement accuracy and measurement speed, which are typically in conflict. Additionally, various average values can be output in real-time along with instantaneous values. The heat flow sensor is a mechanism that measures the temperature difference occurring on both sides of a plate-shaped thermal resistance placed across the flow of heat. It measures the conductive heat that travels in a direction perpendicular to the surface inside the sensor. In the general-purpose heat flow sensor series, to avoid affecting the original heat flow, a thermopile is constructed by connecting numerous thermocouples in series on both sides of a thin plastic plate, allowing for heat flow measurement even when the temperature difference between the front and back is less than 0.001°C. Using a heat flow sensor enables more accurate measurements compared to traditional methods that determine heat flow values from the thermal conductivity of materials and temperature differences. It can be widely used as a standard sensor for measuring the distribution and total amount of heat transfer in structures such as experimental buildings, residences, and commercial buildings, as well as for the quantitative evaluation of thermal insulation performance in equipment and facilities for heat retention and cooling. The "Thermoduck EII MODEL 5031A" is an all-in-one data logger that does not require a computer. You can configure, monitor, and download measurement files using a web browser. Automatic transfer of measurement files via email and uploading of measurement files via FTP are also possible.
