PILOT Fine Ceramics is a unique ceramic product that utilizes core technologies such as mixing, extrusion molding, and firing, which we have cultivated through our mechanical pencils. With our uniquely developed extrusion molding equipment and firing know-how, we create high-density, high-strength, and high-purity ceramics that are precisely molded and uniformly fired. Furthermore, by adding secondary processing, we can provide high precision (micron order) dimensional accuracy for inner and outer diameters, as well as surface smoothness (sub-micron order) in surface roughness.

Pilot Corporation's ceramics can provide high dimensional accuracy for fine pores and deep holes of less than 1mm, which are difficult to manufacture through machining. Thanks to the expertise in mixing, extrusion molding, and firing developed in the production of mechanical pencil leads, we can achieve dense and homogeneous molding, resulting in minimal dimensional variation within the same lot. Additionally, we can produce single holes, multiple holes, and irregularly shaped holes. By utilizing high-precision fine holes, we enable precise microflow control. Our ceramics, which have excellent corrosion resistance, can also be used with corrosive liquids and gases. The materials used are high-purity alumina, zirconia, and aluminum nitride. 【Features】 ■ Capable of manufacturing fine ceramics with a minimum outer diameter of φ0.3mm and a minimum hole diameter of φ0.02mm ■ For inner diameters of less than φ1mm, we can produce long products with an aspect ratio of over 200 (maximum length of 120mm) ■ Free thickness can be achieved for deep holes, from thin to thick walls ■ High precision with a dimensional tolerance of ±5% *For more details, please refer to the materials.
