Brother Industries, Ltd. (President: Kazushi Ikeda) will launch the "Deburring Center SPEEDIO DG-1," specialized in deburring processing of die-cast parts, on September 24. This new model is scheduled to be exhibited at JIMTOF 2024 (the 32nd Japan International Machine Tool Fair) and j-dec 2024 (Japan Die Casting Conference and Exhibition) to be held in November 2024. ■ Features of the Deburring Center SPEEDIO DG-1 This is a dedicated machine specialized for deburring processing of die-cast parts. While the conventional SPEEDIO was aimed at part machining, the Deburring Center DG-1 is designed to remove burrs generated during the manufacturing process of die-cast parts. - Significant reduction in setup time for processing due to Brother's unique features Equipped with numerous user-friendly functions, including automatic generation of processing paths, path correction via a touch panel, and automatic program conversion. - Wide processing area ideal for mixed-variety, small-batch production Capable of processing medium-sized die-cast parts in a spacious processing area. - Machine design suitable for deburring processing The spindle motor operates at 20,000 min-1, allowing for the setting of optimal processing conditions.

(President: Ichiro Sasaki) will release the bestselling model "Compact Machining Center SPEEDIO S300Xd2/S500Xd2/S700Xd2 (S Series)" and the 5-axis machining machine "Universal Compact Machining Center SPEEDIO U500Xd2 (U Series)" on August 26. ■ Features of the Compact Machining Center SPEEDIO S300Xd2/S500Xd2/S700Xd2 (S Series) - The machining area has been expanded by increasing the depth (Y-axis travel) and height (Z-axis travel) as well as the table size. - The spindle has been strengthened to improve rigidity, demonstrating its power in heavy cutting of iron and machining a wide range of parts including stainless steel and titanium alloys. ■ Features of the Universal Compact Machining Center SPEEDIO U500Xd2 (U Series) - The expansion of Y/Z-axis travel allows for a wide range of multi-surface machining.
