Free membership registrationThe TGR-250 is a state-of-the-art tool grinding machine that achieves a high level of precision. Previous tool grinding machines had various challenges. In particular, the drive for the A-axis and C-axis, which are the rotating axes, used gears, making it impossible to avoid a decrease in grinding precision due to backlash. As the years of use increased, regular maintenance was required, including periodic adjustments for backlash to address deterioration, and replacement was necessary when wear progressed. The TGR-250 has newly adopted direct drive motors for the A-axis and C-axis, achieving an astonishing backlash of "0". This has dramatically improved the potential of the tool grinding machine.
