The "MA-56" is a mobile air conditioner with approximately 15 times the capacity of a typical household air conditioner (for a 12-tatami mat room). It can provide cooling, dehumidification, and heating, making it suitable for all seasons. This is a packaged tunnel cooling system. With a maximum cooling capacity of 397 kW, it lowers the temperature inside the tunnel while converting moisture into a large amount of drainage, providing a cool breeze sensation. A ventilation system can be constructed to meet the needs of the site. The tunnel cooler consists of a heat exchanger, chiller unit, and cooling tower. By connecting to a blower, it cools outside air and sends it into the tunnel.

Dehumidified cold air is ventilated locally through small-diameter ducts. It is particularly effective in large-section shields and ECL/TBM construction. With a rich variety of options, systems can be constructed to suit the installation and ventilation conditions in narrow tunnels, utilizing cold heat sources such as muddy water, spring water, and stream water, as well as oil coolers and fin coil types.
