[RecurDyn Implementation Case] Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

Examples of the use of gear trains and valve train design in motorcycle and MotoGP racing engines.

We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" was implemented at Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. In their joint development of engine development tools, the company initially tried using their own developed program, but modeling each individual link of the timing chain took an excessive amount of time, making it impractical. Therefore, they considered the introduction of commercial software. As a result, they conducted evaluations of several general-purpose software options. [RecurDyn Case Study] NTN Corporation

A case where significant effects on reducing development time were achieved through customized automation.

We would like to introduce a case study where our "RecurDyn" was implemented at NTN Corporation, a bearing manufacturer. The company started using our product because various products required mechanism analysis. After implementation, it was utilized for the analysis of an eccentric roller reducer. [RecurDyn Case Study] Nagoya Institute of Technology

A case study utilized in research on the control of hydraulic actuators in a shaking table for verifying seismic performance.

We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" was implemented at Nagoya Institute of Technology. In the research on the control of a hydraulic shaker on a vibration table, the previously used product came to mind, and due to expectations for integration with the control simulator and elastic body functions, this product was adopted. [RecurDyn Case Study] Nagaoka University of Technology

We would like to introduce a case where our product "RecurDyn" was implemented at Nagaoka University of Technology. Initially, a different software was used for the simulation of rolling bearings, but it did not support rolling contact. We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" has been implemented at Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, a comprehensive electrical equipment manufacturer. The introduction was made possible because F-Flex's direct method can solve the coupling of mechanical structures, allowing everything from mesh generation to analysis execution to be completed in one go. Additionally, the G-Manager function allows for a certain degree of freedom in switching between elastic bodies and rigid bodies. [RecurDyn Implementation Case] Mitsuba Corporation

We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" software has been implemented at Mitsuba Corporation, whose main business is the development of four-wheel electrical products for automobiles. During the investigation of software for mechanical analysis, we focused on the capability to handle elastic bodies. As a result of our evaluation, we determined that it could be effectively utilized in the company's motor development, leading to the decision to implement this product. Currently, a model that considers the contact of elastic bodies and the resulting deformation is being used to analyze the type of rotation produced, specifically for evaluating sound and vibration, which are crucial in motor design, using F-Flex. We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" software has been implemented at Jaytec Corporation. Initially, they were using other mechanism analysis software, but the introduction was prompted by a request to the Research and Development Department to evaluate the strength of the CVJ (Constant Velocity Joint) retainers that make up the drive shaft, as it was thought that coupled analysis of mechanism analysis and FEM could be performed. After the introduction, although metal retainers were the mainstream, the trend towards using resin and the increasing severity of usage conditions have led to its primary application in strength evaluation. [RecurDyn Implementation Case] Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute

We would like to introduce a case where our product "RecurDyn" was implemented at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute. In the development of mobile robots, our product was considered suitable for dynamic evaluation during the design phase, which led to its adoption. After implementation, simulations were conducted using our product to examine whether the robot could overcome obstacles and inclines, leading to the determination of optimal values. Ultimately, the robot was able to overcome obstacles, yielding results nearly identical to those of the actual machine. A case where it was found that high load and high stress occurred in drilling operations that were not anticipated by using actual data.

We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" was implemented at Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., which is engaged in the manufacturing and sales of construction machinery. The introduction of our product was prompted by the idea that if we could effectively use data obtained from sensors at the site of ultra-large excavators, we could evaluate the structures even without being present. A case study conducted over approximately one year involving verification with the actual machine, software improvements, and brainstorming on internal utilization methods.

We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" was implemented at Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., which primarily develops and sells multifunction devices and printers for office use, as well as large printing systems for the printing market. The company was struggling with the time-consuming process of physical prototyping, particularly with two types of issues related to paper feeding and heat. They were introduced to our product, which specializes in paper feeding analysis, and decided to implement it. Currently, they are conducting internal training for paper feeding designers, creating a system that allows the designers themselves to use the product. We would like to introduce a case where our "RecurDyn" was implemented at BorgWarner Morse Systems Japan Co., Ltd., which mainly handles internal combustion engine timing chain systems and variable valve (cam) timing systems.
