Free membership registration【Customer's Challenge】 We want to eliminate false detections and prevent the outflow of unprocessed products! We inspect unprocessed products with a laser inspection device, and then inspectors conduct a visual inspection of all items in the subsequent process. However, false detections caused by the adhesion of cutting fluid frequently occur, leading inspectors to mistakenly believe that the inspection device has made a false detection even when a non-conforming judgment has been issued. As a result, defective products have been processed as good products, leading to the outflow of unprocessed products to customers. We have received a request to review the current inspection method. 【Proposal from Microfix】 The eddy current tap unprocessed detection device generates eddy currents in the inspected object through electromagnetic induction and makes judgments based on the differences in changes. Water and oil are insulators, so electricity does not flow, and even if they adhere to the tap holes, they do not affect the inspection results. Therefore, stable inspection accuracy can be maintained even in harsh on-site environments.

Free membership registrationThe occurrence of processing omissions in tap holes (screw holes) carries many significant risks, such as "cost losses" from returns and full inspections, and "credibility losses" that diminish product and corporate trust. Generally, inspections are conducted using "lasers" or "visual checks," but currently, there are issues on-site where inspections are missed due to lasers misidentifying water or oil attached to the tap, or due to visual inspections overlooking unprocessed areas. At Microfix, we are offering a free copy of "Reconsidering the Issue of Unprocessed Outflow: A Fundamental Solution to Tap Unprocessed Outflow," which summarizes case studies of troubles caused by "tap hole inspection omissions," along with their causes and solutions! [Excerpt from the introductory book] ■1. The importance of tap unprocessed inspections ■2. The current state and issues of tap unprocessed inspections ■3. Why unprocessed products occur ■4. Troubles caused by the occurrence of unprocessed products ■5. Requirements for tap hole unprocessed inspections ■6. Introduction to Microfix products ★★★ If you would like a copy of "Fundamental Solutions to Tap Unprocessed Outflow," please download it from the link below! ★★★

Free membership registrationThe quality of heat-treated products needs to be examined by investigating the internal structure of the metal, which necessitates the destruction of the product for testing. As a result, the reality is that destructive testing through sampling or visual inspection of the appearance is conducted, but there are issues with these inspections. Sampling inspection, which is widely adopted for the inspection of heat-treated products, involves taking samples at a certain ratio and comparing the inspection results with the criteria to determine the pass or fail of the entire lot. Ideally, thorough quality assurance would require 100% inspection, but due to the nature of fracture and destruction, it is limited to a certain number... Free membership registrationIn Western countries, the concept of 100% inspection is more advanced than in Japan. The demand for high-quality products is increasing year by year. In the face of growing competition from overseas companies, it is required to guarantee a certain level of quality through 100% inspection and to prevent the outflow of critical defects that could lead to significant lawsuits. In Japan, sampling inspection is the mainstream, and there are not many companies that conduct 100% inspection of heat-treated products. Why is 100% inspection not widespread in Japan...? Free membership registrationIn the tap processing field, it is very important to prevent the occurrence of "untapped products." If untapped products are delivered to customers and end up in the hands of end-users, there is a risk of causing irreparable troubles and accidents. However, the reality is that there are still very few companies that place importance on inspecting untapped products. Most cases of missed tap hole processing occur due to programming errors or issues with cutting tools, etc. (The continuation will be introduced in the materials!) *Please download the "Fundamental Solution to Untapped Product Leakage" to read more.

Free membership registrationIn human-operated tasks, "careless mistakes" are inevitable, so visual inspections will eventually lead to "overlooked" issues. Additionally, in laser inspections, there is a risk of "overlooking" defective products due to misidentification of cutting fluids, which necessitates the demand for more precise inspection equipment. In the tap hole processing field, it is essential to establish a reliable and accurate inspection environment while paying attention to three key points...
