Monolith refers to a unified structure, and here it represents a structure where the skeleton and voids are both continuous, in other words, a sponge-like (co-continuous) polymer porous body that is continuously connected like tetrapods found on the coast. Our company has successfully obtained multiple polymer monoliths with beautiful co-continuous structures by discovering new preparation methods or new materials for such polymer monoliths.
