Business Activities
maxon develops and manufactures high-performance electric motors. Our DC motors are recognized as some of the best products in the global market. These motors are almost always used in situations where high requirements are demanded and technical compromises are not allowed. One example is NASA's Mars rover. They are also used in insulin pumps and surgical hand tools. Additionally, their applications span a wide range, including humanoid robots, high-precision industrial equipment, tattoo machines, passenger aircraft, camera lenses, racing cars, and heart pumps. For over 50 years, we have been developing our business centered on solutions, quality, and technological innovation that meet our customers' needs. As a result, the product program included in our modular systems has gradually expanded, and we now offer the following product groups: - Brushless and brushed DC motors - Brushless flat motors - Planetary gearheads, spur gearheads, and specially designed gearheads - Sensors - Servo amplifiers and position control units - Innovative CIM/MIM components - Custom-designed drives.
