The BioVersal UHPLC column hardware features a dual structure of PEEK and stainless steel, designed for biocompatible applications. It combines the strength of stainless steel UHPLC columns with the chemical inertness of PEEK polymer, making it suitable for use in the demanding environments of UHPLC. Additionally, it minimizes unwanted surface interactions to ensure the integrity of biological samples. The 1.0 mm column hardware is designed with robustness in mind for filling columns with microbore fillers, achieving efficient microbore filling with a smooth internal tube surface finish and ultra-high pressure design. To mitigate the effects of peak leading commonly seen in conventional stainless steel column tubes, the tube section uses patented PEEK-lined stainless steel, which can provide consistent surface smoothness. Additionally, it does not degrade the sample peaks even after hundreds of consecutive injections. Each column is laser-marked with the inner diameter, frit pore size, and lot number, ensuring traceability.
