Reviving Japanese electronics.

The digitalization and intensified competition have led to the hollowing out of technology and declining profit margins among Japan's major electronics manufacturers, resulting in a rapid consolidation of these companies. Particularly, the focus on cost reduction through low-cost management has neglected human resource development and continued reliance on outsourcing, leading to a persistent shortage of skilled personnel. Additionally, in Japan, the status of design engineers is low (compared to lawyers in the U.S. and elsewhere), and even talented students who have studied specialized fields and joined major manufacturers are quickly shifted to management roles after a maximum of 2 to 3 years of actual design work. As globalization progresses and the rise of Asia (BRICS) makes it difficult to escape this negative spiral, there is a need to revive and resurrect the "Electronic Nation Japan," which was once a sensation in the 1980s. "Design Development Anything .COM" aims to enhance the value of Japan's electronics industry, which is currently in decline, ultimately transcending industries, genres, and regions to weave together LSI and embedded system design and development companies, which are the core of electronics, at a national level. This initiative seeks to reliably connect skills and craftsmanship, industry and academia, as well as seeds and needs, creating an ultimate network while aiming for the "restoration of inventors and design development engineers."
