There are various methods for measuring force, such as magnetostriction, string vibration, and capacitance, but our load cells utilize strain gauges and are widely used in industrial applications. **Principle of Load Cell Measurement** A load cell consists of a deformable element that deforms in proportion to the force applied and a strain gauge attached to it. A voltage (applied voltage) is always applied to the load cell, and a very small voltage signal proportional to the strain is output (output voltage). When a force is applied to the deformable element, the electrical resistance changes due to the strain, and the output voltage changes proportionally. By amplifying this change within the load cell and converting it into a weight value, it functions as a scale.
