Nanoimprint is a mechanical method of nanostructure processing that involves pressing a mold, formed with fine uneven shapes of tens to hundreds of nanometers, against a resin material to transfer the shape. Compared to photolithography, it does not require expensive optical systems and can consolidate multiple processes into one. Advantages include lower manufacturing costs.
