●What is a spray dryer? A spray dryer is a device that converts liquid raw materials into fine powder. This mist is then brought into contact with a high-temperature gas (usually air), causing the liquid components, such as moisture, to evaporate instantly, resulting in dried fine powder. ●Why can it dry? When the liquid becomes a fine mist, the surface area increases dramatically. This increases the contact area with the high-temperature gas, allowing heat to be transferred efficiently, which causes moisture to evaporate instantly. Additionally, because the drying time is very short, even heat-sensitive materials can be dried at relatively low temperatures.
