What the Aoyama Ecosystem is pursuing can be summed up in one word: "safety." For humans, safety means "creating and securing conditions for continued existence." In order for us to live safely and comfortably, it is necessary to form a "sustainable circular economy society" as soon as possible. However, people continue to obsessively pursue consumption expansion at the expense of individual and societal welfare. A society that relies on consumption expansion ignores and alters natural cycles, disrupting the entire ecosystem. Fortunately, our company is located by Lake Biwa, a model area where humans and nature influence each other for survival. If we can devise and implement a system that maintains a circular balance here, it could be applied everywhere on Earth. We are committed to this place and aim to think about and build the necessary systems for humans to "continue living safely" here, and to develop that ecological economy system.
