Winches, rack jacks, and reducers that hold loads without brakes are widely adopted in automobile factories, with the key factors being lightweight, compact design, and space-saving!

We have developed a number of applied products featuring a unique load-holding function with a deceleration mechanism (shoji-lock), which have been well received by our customers. <Features of shoji-lock products> - When rotation is applied from the input side, the output side decelerates and transmits power, but rotation is not possible from the output side = self-locking function. This means that no brakes are needed, and loads can be held at the desired position. - Compared to worm gear reducers with the same self-locking function, our products are highly efficient. Additionally, while worms have input and output axes that are orthogonal, our input and output shafts are aligned in a straight line (in-line), making them significantly more compact, space-saving, and lightweight. - Unlike ratchets or one-way clutches, loads can be held at any position where motion is stopped, regardless of the direction of rotation. Furthermore, there is no ratchet noise, making them suitable for use in quiet environments. - They feature a basic sealed structure (IP65) and are maintenance-free. - We offer a range of applied products, including gear reducers, winches, and linear actuators (rack jacks), that leverage this self-locking mechanism. - Stainless steel versions are also available for each model, suitable for clean room applications. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
