We have developed a number of applied products featuring a unique load-holding function with a deceleration mechanism (shoji-lock), which have been well received by our customers. <Features of shoji-lock products> - When rotation is applied from the input side, the output side decelerates and transmits power, but rotation is not possible from the output side = self-locking function. This means that no brakes are needed, and loads can be held at the desired position. - Compared to worm gear reducers with the same self-locking function, our products are highly efficient. Additionally, while worms have input and output axes that are orthogonal, our input and output shafts are aligned in a straight line (in-line), making them significantly more compact, space-saving, and lightweight. - Unlike ratchets or one-way clutches, loads can be held at any position where motion is stopped, regardless of the direction of rotation. Furthermore, there is no ratchet noise, making them suitable for use in quiet environments. - They feature a basic sealed structure (IP65) and are maintenance-free. - We offer a range of applied products, including gear reducers, winches, and linear actuators (rack jacks), that leverage this self-locking mechanism. - Stainless steel versions are also available for each model, suitable for clean room applications. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

This is a compact and lightweight rack-type jack (linear actuator) equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). It holds the load in place while raising and lowering the workpiece. Additionally, it can be restarted from any position without releasing the brake, whether in the upward or downward direction. Due to its lightweight and compact design, it saves space and has been adopted and well-received in various fields. Unlike traditional screw jacks, the rack type offers overwhelmingly faster ascent and descent speeds, characterized by its high efficiency and ease of operation. In addition to the manual-only (SLM series) models, there are also electric models (SLE series) that can be driven by power tool drill drivers. The surface features a standard black Teflon coating that is resistant to rust. Thanks to its light operability, even women and the elderly can easily raise and lower heavy workpieces, contributing to alleviating labor shortages and improving productivity. As shown in the photos and videos, when mounted on a lab jack or table lifter, it can hold the position with the load applied while raised or lowered, and once the handle is turned again, it resumes movement without any motion delay. It is compatible with commercially available round rack rods (manufactured by KHK). (Rack rods are not included.)

This is a compact and lightweight winch equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). It holds the load at the position where the work is lifted. Additionally, it can be restarted from any position without releasing the brake, whether in forward or reverse rotation. Its lightweight and compact design allows for space-saving, making it widely adopted and well-received in various fields. In addition to the manual-only (SWM series) models, we also offer electric models (SWE series) that can be driven by power tool drill drivers. The load capacity ranges from 50 kg to 300 kg. Furthermore, we have stainless steel models suitable for clean rooms and vacuum equipment, as well as some aluminum models that achieve further weight reduction. The manual-only versions are dustproof. These winches can be widely used in locations without power, for disaster prevention, energy-saving measures, defense and military applications, and explosion-proof measures. Since they are not ratchet-based, they operate very quietly, making them suitable for nighttime work and use in hospitals, research facilities, and laboratories. The stainless steel models are not only used in clean rooms but also have many applications in marine and ship-related industries. The aluminum models are lightweight, making them very convenient for portability. They are also used in medical devices, food machinery, and defense and military applications.

This is a compact and lightweight rack-type jack (linear actuator) equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). It holds the load in place while raising and lowering the workpiece. Furthermore, it can be restarted from any position without releasing the brake, whether in the upward or downward direction. Additionally, its lightweight and compact design allows for space-saving, and it has been adopted and well-received in various fields. Unlike conventional screw jacks, the rack type offers overwhelmingly faster ascent and descent speeds, characterized by its high efficiency and ease of operation. In addition to the manual-only (SLM series) models, there are also electric models (SLE series) that can be driven by power tools such as drill drivers. The surface features a standard black Teflon coating that is resistant to rust. It can be widely used for disaster prevention and energy-saving measures, as well as in defense and military applications. It is also suitable for universities, research institutes, testing facilities, and explosion-proof measures. Recently, more customers have been considering it as an alternative to small hydraulic jacks, taking environmental issues into account. It is compatible with commercially available round rack rods (manufactured by KHK). (Rack rods are not included.)

This is a compact inline reduction gear equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). For example, it can hold a load even if the movement is stopped during the ascent, rotation, or tilting of the device, making it suitable for requests such as wanting to conduct experiments or perform tasks at a stopped position. Another feature is that traditional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions require a considerable amount of space due to the input and output shafts being orthogonal, whereas our design has the input and output shafts aligned in a straight line (inline), allowing for a lightweight, smart, and compact design that can be easily integrated into various devices. The lineup can be selected based on output shaft torque and reduction ratios, with torque ratings available from 5 to 100 kgm (load × torque arm). Some products are also available in all stainless steel for cleanroom compatibility. The basic model is coated with black Teflon, which is resistant to rust. Additionally, it can operate and maintain load even without power during emergencies. It is being introduced as a mechanical component in various fields, including defense and military applications, plant-related industries, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, automotive assembly lines, and device lid opening and closing mechanisms.

We have developed a number of applied products featuring a unique load-holding function with a reduction mechanism (Shoji-lock), which have been well received by our customers. <Shoji-lock Product Features> - When rotation is applied from the input side, the output side decelerates and transmits power, but rotation is not possible from the output side = self-locking function. This means that it can hold a load at the desired position without the need for a brake. - Compared to worm reduction gears with the same self-locking function, it is highly efficient. Additionally, while worms have input and output axes that are orthogonal, our design has the input and output shafts aligned in a straight line (in-line), making it considerably more compact and space-saving, as well as lightweight. - Unlike ratchets or one-way clutches, it can hold a load at any position where movement is stopped, regardless of the direction of rotation. Furthermore, there is no ratchet noise, making it suitable for use in quiet environments. - It has a basic sealed structure (IP65) and is maintenance-free. - We offer a variety of applied products, including reduction gears that utilize this self-locking mechanism, winches, and linear actuators (rack jacks). - Stainless steel versions are also available for each model, suitable for clean room applications. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
