The total station PENTAX P-100 series from TI Asahi Corporation features high-speed and stable distance and angle settings. Non-prism: approximately 0.3 seconds, accuracy 3+3ppm Prism: approximately 0.8 seconds, accuracy 2+2ppm The maximum measurable distance without a prism is 600m, making it convenient for quick and extensive measurements in hard-to-access disaster sites and similar locations. Equipped with a dual-axis compensator, the correction range is ±3’. It corrects vertical errors caused by tilting in the front-back and left-right directions, as well as horizontal angle errors. It is also resistant to temperature changes and vibrations. While in operation, it efficiently acquires color images of the tunnel lining and high-precision three-dimensional spatial position data, capable of scanning approximately 1 million points per second. We would like to introduce a case study of GNSS receiver G3100 RTK observations from the Coexistence Environment Course of the Faculty of Agriculture at Iwate University. (The current model is the GX2 series.) During the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, tsunamis surged in from both the Hirota Bay side and the Pacific Ocean side. Due to ground subsidence, seawater that flooded the reclaimed land could not be drained, and the Hirota Town area became an isolated island for several days. Investigating the subsidence situation became urgent for the restoration of agricultural land and reclaimed land.
