The Facing Center was developed in response to the demand for significant reductions in production time by enabling face milling operations equivalent to vertical lathes using a horizontal boring mill. The rigidity and precision of the integrated faceplate are incomparable to conventional attachment-type faceplates, eliminating the need for attachment and allowing processing with the boring spindle.
