The Suppon MWX is a seismic joint designed specifically for pipes, manufactured by Mitsui Mining & Smelting Engineering Co., Ltd. (MESCO), that does not require disassembly. It accommodates nominal diameters from Φ40 to Φ200. The allowable water pressure can reach up to 2.0 MPa using a dedicated in-core. It can be installed without the need for flange processing or welding work when connecting bridge-mounted piping, and can be put into service immediately after installation with just one wrench. Additionally, it does not require special tools, allowing for installation unaffected by environmental conditions (weather, mountainous areas). - The pipe-on-pipe sliding connection allows for easy adjustment and alignment between bridge piping and buried piping. - There is a wide range of compatible connections between MESCO pipes and other types of pipes (such as PVC and cast iron). - There is a rich lineup of products ideal for the installation of mechanical soft-seal shut-off valves and fire hydrants that eliminate the risk of leakage from shut-off valves.
