In the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, equipment from small and medium-sized Japanese enterprises will be used in June for the treatment of contaminated water containing high concentrations of radioactive substances (radioactivity), which has become the biggest obstacle to recovery efforts. While the treatment of contaminated water is primarily centered around equipment from Western companies such as France's Areva, NSP (Tokyo), which specializes in water treatment, will provide an oil separation device equipped with its own technology. Carrying the "Hinomaru" (the Japanese flag), they are taking on the greatest challenge in the recovery of the nuclear power plant.

To prevent the outflow of highly radioactive stagnant water that has accumulated in the turbine building and other areas, we began construction to install equipment that will treat the stagnant water transferred and stored in the centralized waste treatment building for use as injection water into the reactor, starting in early May, and the installation of major equipment has been completed. We aim to start processing in mid-June.
