However, it is crucial to review and consider the development and design stages, and it is indispensable to enhance overall design quality not only within the design department but also among all departments and members involved with the equipment. Design reviews are a system implemented in many companies to review and consider the design stages, but have they become mere formalities? Why not learn from the basics about design reviews that "enhance design quality" in this course? This course will provide a clear and concrete explanation of what design reviews are, from an overview to practical application. It will cover essential points such as why design reviews are necessary and how to operate them without them becoming mere formalities, explained from the perspectives of both the reviewers and those listening to the reviews, making it easy to understand.

Among the "Eight Pillars of TPM Deployment," the collaboration of the three maintenance activities: "Quality Maintenance," "Planned Maintenance," and "Autonomous Maintenance," has become particularly important in recent years as a countermeasure against quality defects. - In terms of activity collaboration, the basic idea is to identify inspection items that maintain good product conditions in "Quality Maintenance" activities, establish good product management standards in "Planned Maintenance" activities, and develop monitoring conditions and inspection methods in "Autonomous Maintenance" activities, creating a good cycle that leads to quality improvement. This course aims to teach the concepts and case studies of the three maintenance activities, as well as strategies and key points for addressing on-site issues, to assist in the eradication of on-site troubles and the enhancement of quality.

Free membership registrationA standard has been established to objectively evaluate some functions and management techniques of maintenance handled by the manufacturing department regarding the knowledge and skills required of manufacturing operators. Through three types of content—"certification exams," "correspondence courses," and "online exams (IBT format)"—we certify "self-maintenance specialists." An introduction to each content is also provided on our association's page on the same site. What is "self-maintenance activity"? It is an activity in which each manufacturing operator can manage the equipment they use and maintain the correct condition of that equipment.
