Iso Wool BSSR blocks are modular block products made by cutting (or folding) biodegradable fibers (AES wool) and compressing them in layers. By compressing and layering the blankets, the density can be increased and the thermal conductivity can be reduced. Isotap is an amorphous insulation material made by blending fire-resistant insulating fibers and fire-resistant aggregates. Isotap F-12A and 14A are products not subject to RCF regulations. It has good workability, can be shaped into complex forms, and is also suitable for applications requiring ball-shaped installation. F-12A and 14A are dry products that, like conventional castables, are mixed with water and cure at room temperature as hydraulic products.
