Our LED lighting 'LP-400 Series' includes three types: LP Series, LPW Series, and LPH Series. The "LP Series" and "LPW Series" are LED lighting devices for machine tools that are equipped with dustproof, waterproof, and oil-proof functions, with the LP Series being the standard specification from the past. The "LPH Series" inherits the lens design and substrate characteristics of the LP Series and, in addition to the dustproof, waterproof, and oil-proof functions, it is a LED lighting device that has been chemically enhanced for resistance to water-soluble coolants. Additionally, the "LPW Series" is a lighting device that suppresses multiple glare lines caused by the reflection of the LED light source on the polished object. The LP400 series offers a variety of light types to meet customer usage needs. Based on illuminance and size, we provide options such as lens types and diffusion types. The LPW series has been commercialized using high illuminance and multi-glare suppression technology. We have developed a new, more affordable product, the LPWL-488, inheriting the technology and performance of the LPW-488, and have begun sales. We would like to introduce the recommended installation guidelines for the lighting fixtures developed for glare prevention. When the glass surface of the lighting fixture is installed nearly perpendicular to the central axis of the workpiece, the glare prevention effect is enhanced. We would like to present the results of our investigation into the effectiveness of the installed glare prevention LED lighting fixture (LPW-488) compared to the conventional lighting fixture (LP-488). The visibility of glare can generally be described as follows, due to the nature of LED lighting using point light sources: - The larger the diameter of the workpiece, the more easily glare can be seen. - The closer the distance between the lighting fixture and the workpiece, the more easily glare can be seen. For a workpiece with a diameter of φ168mm, the glare from the LPW-488 becomes invisible when the distance between the lighting fixture and the workpiece is 30cm. In contrast, with the conventional model, a blurred glare can still be observed even at a distance of about 1m. When comparing the illuminance distribution of the newly developed LPW-488 with our conventional models, the LPW-488 has a higher illuminance than our previous products. Additionally, when comparing the half-value width of the lighting distribution between the LPW-488 and the conventional LP-488, the LPW-488 has approximately twice the half-value width of the conventional model, making it suitable for illuminating a wide workspace. The "LP600 Series (Wide View Light)" is an LED floodlight suitable for long-distance and wide-area lighting (such as night agricultural work sites, road construction sites, and building construction sites). With a power consumption of 30W, it can provide an illuminance of over 10 lux within a radius of approximately 10 meters, and the lighting range is about ±60 degrees horizontally.
