The cloud service for creating electronic catalogs and brochures, "wook" (http://wook.jp/), started distributing an app for electronic catalogs for Android devices on April 5, 2011 (free of charge). ■ Launched a unique eBook app for Android devices, supporting multi-device viewing. Until now, wook has supported viewing from PCs, iPhones, and iPads, but in the future, users will be able to view electronic catalogs from smartphones and tablet PCs running Android OS using the new eBook app for Android devices. This Android app supports PDF and ePub data formats, allowing users to register PDF and text data. By utilizing proprietary image conversion technology and ePub conversion technology, users can view electronic catalogs on Android devices. As a result, the number of devices that can view electronic catalogs published on wook will further increase, and by achieving "one source, multi-device," more people will be able to enjoy wook's electronic catalogs.
