Using a head called a counter, we further enlarge the hole diameter of the material that has undergone tempering after L1 and BTA. We carry out processes such as L1, BTA → tempering → L2, BTA → stress relief → L3, BTA at the request of our customers. After the final BTA, honing may also be performed. In that case, honing will be carried out by our partner company, and honing is also very well received.

This is a photo of the trepanning process performed from both ends of the material. When trepanning is carried out, a core of material remains. Since the processing was done from both ends, a flange has formed in the central part of the core material.

At our Kyushu and Kawasaki factories, we have BTA machining machines with workpiece fixation and head rotation systems. Using this BTA machine, we can perform deep hole drilling not only at the center of the material but also at eccentric locations.

In addition to BTA processing, we also perform external cutting and lathe processing for determining overall length. We can also handle material procurement, heat treatment, and honing based on customer requests. The possible drilling length varies depending on the dimensions of the BAT deep hole drilling.
