Free membership registrationIt is a type of die that has been used traditionally, known as the "Thomson type" and "Bik type." SK material blades are processed and embedded into plywood. Currently, efficiency has improved with the introduction of bending machines, but for important processes that affect the quality of the die, such as adjusting the bending and handling the seams between blades, the skill of a seasoned craftsman is required.

Free membership registrationIn the seal industry, there has been a use of etching blades (corrosion blades) for some time, primarily for half-cut applications of seals. At Pinnacle Die, we have transformed the rounded tip, which was a weakness of the etching blade (corrosion blade), into a sharp edge through CNC sharpening processing. As a result, it has become possible to cut materials such as paper and film that could not be cut with conventional etching blades, and it is now sufficiently capable of handling the cutting of FPC substrates that require high precision. This can be utilized for the production of prototypes of FPC substrates and precision parts that demand high accuracy. Additionally, the blade height can be adjusted according to the thickness of the products being cut.

Free membership registrationPlease make full use of our mobile die, which can adequately handle short lead times and small lot sizes. *The maximum processing size has increased! (Now compatible with sizes up to 295mm x 140mm!) With a combination of Bakelite, the total height is 23.6mm, allowing it to be used without changing the settings of the press machine. Of course, it can also be integrated into a Thomson type.
