We have developed a coreless frameless motor that utilizes a rare-earth anisotropic magnet. The rare-earth anisotropic magnet effect has achieved approximately a 20% increase in torque. Note: A rare-earth anisotropic magnet is a groundbreaking magnet that realizes a Halbach array in a ring magnet, concentrating magnetic flux on the opposite side with just one magnetization.

Since there are no magnets, by varying the amount of current supplied to the coils wound on the rotor, it is possible to vary the generated magnetic flux, enabling control similar to field weakening in IPM types, which expands the range of variable speeds compared to IPM motors. Without magnets, rare earth materials are, of course, unnecessary! It is an environmentally friendly eco-motor. Currently under development, we are also seeking joint research with universities and collaborative development with companies regarding materials and configurations.
