This is a collection of case studies on equipment temperature monitoring using non-contact temperature sensors/cameras handled by SSC Corporation. By detecting temperature rises in old equipment that is difficult to replace and in equipment where heat leaks are a concern, it informs the responsible personnel, leading to improved safety and reduced inspection costs through constant monitoring.

The temperature data collected by a non-contact temperature sensor (thermal watcher) will be used for AI learning inference in the Solist-AI TM simulator to display the degree of abnormality associated with temperature changes. The Solist-AI TM simulator is software that simulates the AI accelerator function of Solist-AI TMIC (ML63Q2557) on Windows. - A demo device mimicking a control panel is created in a normal state (initial powered state) and a load state, and temperature data from terminal blocks and other components is collected using the thermal watcher (32x32 pixel non-contact temperature sensor). - The temperature data from the normal state is used to train the AI in the simulator. - The temperature data from the load state is inferred by the AI in the simulator, and the degree of abnormality associated with temperature changes is displayed in a graph.

The "Xi 80" is an industrial infrared camera capable of accurate temperature measurement from -20 to 900°C. With the industrial PIF (optional), it can provide up to 9 analog or alarm outputs. The Thermal Watcher is a non-contact temperature monitoring unit developed in-house by SSC Corporation. Thermal Watcher is a product developed in-house by SSC. By installing sensors on electrical equipment such as control panels and heat-generating devices, it can measure the temperature distribution of the target. When a temperature exceeding the threshold set by the controller is detected, an alarm output (DO output) is triggered, notifying of abnormalities by linking with market alarm systems and notification systems.
