GPIB/LAN conversion device [DN-6000ST] remote control data collection
The DN-6000ST is a conversion device for remotely controlling and collecting data from measurement instruments with a GPIB interface over an Ethernet LAN. It addresses concerns such as outdated GP-IB communication terminals that cannot be repaired or replaced, and the desire to obtain information from measuring instruments remotely. The DN-6000ST is a gateway device that enables GPIB (IEEE-488, HP-IB) compliant instruments to be compatible with Ethernet. It overcomes the limitations of cable length imposed by GPIB (maximum 20m) and allows for the replacement of on-site PCs, facilitating the construction of extensive automated measurement and collection systems. *The DN-6000ST can be operated remotely via Ethernet (controlled through TCP socket communication from a PC or PLC).
