[Science Column] What Science Seeks: The Evolution and Limits of AI (2)

This document is part of a series of science columns (2).
Many people say that the ultimate goal in the field of electronics is "AI."
By organizing and storing various information that exists in the world and inputting methods and purposes for the correlation and integration of that information into computers, we can enable computers to become autonomous. If they can further absorb vast amounts of information and explore multiple pathways to solve themes and problems, the autonomy of computers will advance even further. They will be able to derive accurate "solutions" as computers, regardless of the initial goals, without human involvement.
This is the goal of "AI," and in some cases, it may represent the aim of science or even the "ideal" or "shortcut" to a path toward the happiness of all humanity.
