Usage example: Anti-slip stair nosing effective even after snowmelt freeze (Slip Rate Sigma 03 SR method)

This is a method for anti-slip treatment of stair nosings effective against freezing after snowmelt. It has a thickness (possible from 2mm) and permeability (using a sample with dimensions of 70mm x 40mm and a thickness of 2mm, the time for 10g of water to permeate is 11 seconds), ensuring that even if melted snow freezes, the anti-slip effect is maintained. Slip Rate Sigma 03 is a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin (ceramic fiber) made from epoxy resin, providing excellent durability. The formwork is attached to the nosing of concrete, tile, stone, or steel stairs, and a mixture of Slip Rate Sigma 03 resin and aggregate is embedded, followed by a finishing layer at the height of the formwork to create the anti-slip treatment. By using colored aggregates as shown in the photo, it can also enhance visibility and identification of the nosing for visually impaired individuals. (The photo shows a thickness of 2mm.)

For preventing slips and missteps on stair noses! This is a stair (nose) anti-slip method (SR method) that also improves identification and visibility of stair noses. 'Slip Rate Σ03' is an ultra-strong floor coating material with high permeability and anti-slip properties. Compared to tire insert type non-slip materials, it excels in anti-slip performance and visibility, and is significantly more affordable. The purpose of using it on stair noses is to prevent missteps and slips, especially when the color is the same as the flat surface, making it difficult to distinguish the stair edge visually.
