Slip-resistant flooring materials such as tiles and stone - "Slip Out" (ME method)
"Slip Out" (ME Method)
A new technology that transforms slippery floors into studless tires! Custom-made system tailored to each site, maintaining the concept of building materials while implementing fall prevention safety measures!
The "ME Method" uses the anti-slip construction solvent "SLIPOUT" to widen the gaps between the bonded particles on the surface of the flooring (approximately 0.001 to 10 millimeters), finishing it in a studless style and creating a suction cup effect, making it less slippery even when wet. It is particularly effective on rainy days or when wet. It is effective for preventing slips and ensuring safety on floor surfaces in areas such as entrances, bathrooms, pools, kitchens, corridors, toilets, and stairs. 【Examples of compatible flooring materials (partial list)】 Various types of granite, stone, and other materials Porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles with polished finish Ceramic tile mat finish Terrazzo tiles, ceramic stone Enamel, laser-processed tiles, and many other flooring materials We boast numerous construction achievements in various settings, including apartments, government offices, hospitals, welfare facilities, stores, department stores, and restaurants. 【Features】 ■ Extremely high effectiveness when wet ■ Minimal change in appearance ■ Long durability ■ Short construction time (generally one day) ■ High safety during work ■ Can be applied to properties after handover ■ Easy maintenance after completion *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
【Standard Construction Specifications】 - Slip-resistant construction with warranty 'Slip Out' (ME Method) ■ By using a construction solvent, the existing gaps on the floor surface are widened to form cup-like structures, which suppress slipping through the action of surface tension of water (preventing molecules from attracting and separating) and the capillary phenomenon caused by external pressure (such as from feet) applied to the water surface. ■ This method treats the surface of tiles and natural stones with solvents without compromising aesthetics, making them less slippery during rainy or humid conditions. ■ The solvent is applied to the target flooring, followed by the application of a neutralizing agent, and then mixed with a polisher before being rinsed off with tap water. ■ The construction period is very short, allowing the site to be opened immediately after completion. ■ The area can be accessed during construction. To maintain aesthetics to the maximum extent, it is necessary to create finer holes below a micrometer (widening the gaps). Depending on the flooring material, we can adjust the solvent formulation and production to either create thicker or thinner gaps, or to respond with smaller reactions in quantity, allowing for slip prevention while maintaining aesthetics. Since the chemical reactions vary for each type of flooring, our company is well-versed in the appropriate composition structure, basic components, and water absorption characteristics to ensure compatibility. *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

★Mechanism of Stopping Slippage By using the original construction solvent, the gaps that originally exist on the surface of the floor are widened, forming a cup-like structure. This, combined with the surface tension of water (which prevents molecules from separating) and the capillary phenomenon caused by external pressure (such as from feet) applied to the water surface, helps to suppress slippage through a suction effect. The foundation of the ME method lies in understanding and conceptualizing the compositional structure and basic components of the bonded particles in the flooring material. Regardless of the type of flooring, there are gaps between particles at the microscopic level. By dissolving and widening those gaps through a chemical reaction with the solvent, an entry point for water is created, achieving a studless effect.

【Construction Process】 ★Substrate Preparation and Surface Adjustment We will perform substrate preparation for the flooring, including the removal of dust, dirt, and scale. Even new floors can have unseen dirt attached. We will treat the surface with washing and other methods to ensure that the anti-slip agent reacts effectively.
-
★Application of anti-slip solvent: We apply an anti-slip solvent that is "compatible" with the flooring material and the site. Because it is "compatible," it is not affected by application time or reaction time. It is not a problem if it dries.
-
★Neutralization Cleaning In addition to the purpose of minimizing environmental impact, neutralization treatment is performed for cleaning effectiveness. The impact on the environment is kept within the pH values specified by various regulations, reducing the burden on the environment. The neutralization reaction does not necessarily reach pH 7, as it varies depending on the relationship of the reactants (concentration and other factors), so it is fundamental to produce the neutralizing agent on-site. Our basic approach includes a cleaning process following neutralization; however, since we use a neutralizing agent with cleaning effects, it functions differently from the cleaning agents used in the subsequent cleaning process.
-
★Cleaning: If water washing or the presence of grease components occurs from the floor, it will be cleaned with an alkaline cleaning agent. Wastewater treatment that does not use water will inevitably become an important theme regarding discharge standards and treatment methods in the near future. Our company has developed a solvent that stops slipping once it dries, simply by applying it. The gloss and hue remain unchanged. Even if something is left behind, it can be easily wiped away.

★Static Friction Measurement After the work is completed, a static friction measurement will be conducted. A PPD slip meter, developed based on a unique theory, will be used for the measurement. It is commonly referred to as the "slip resistance value," but academically, it is correct to refer to it as the coefficient values of static and dynamic friction. Instead of establishing a standard based on numerical comparisons of the improvements before and after construction, it will be used as a "guideline." The figures used as guidelines will include the improvement immediately after anti-slip construction, data after a certain period, and maintenance timing indicators, and should be regarded purely as guidelines rather than a quantified standard for safety.

Company information
Since 1998, we have been expanding our business in public projects related to the development of community living infrastructure in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture. Currently, Japan has entered a society with a declining birthrate and an aging population, leading to an increased awareness of safety and security, as well as heightened concerns about slip and fall accidents related to flooring materials and crime prevention. Since 2005, we have incorporated slip-resistant technology to protect your feet, and from 2009, we have been providing services such as the installation of security cameras and exterior renovation work based on security assessments. From 2013, we began offering glass, polycarbonate, and acrylic recycling and polishing services, and from 2017, we have provided waterproofing and corrosion prevention value construction methods. We will strive to improve our technology and quality to contribute to the safety of the community, making every effort to meet your expectations. We kindly ask for your continued guidance and support in the future.
