Temposonics offers excellent non-contact absolute displacement sensors using magnetostrictive technology, which serve as alternatives to traditional linear potentiometers, linear encoders, and rotary encoders. This absolute position sensor is an ideal solution for monitoring and controlling machines that perform hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical positioning. Additionally, the sensor head is equipped with a uniquely developed high-performance LSI, allowing for not only position detection but also the detection of movement speed, enabling the provision of a complete operational profile of the machine. It can compare a user-defined target value with the actual position using a single sensor and can simultaneously measure the position at up to 30 locations. Many other features are also included.
