"Silvio Clear," a paper barrier material made with high transparency paper that allows visibility of the contents, is being used for the first time in packaging for Japanese sweets.
Wakuden, a long-established ryotei representing Kyoto, has adopted Silvio Clear for the packaging of its popular product "Renko Confectionery Seiko," which is crafted as a gift. The packaging is appreciated for its environmental considerations, transparency, functionality in preserving aroma and moisture, and the way the texture of the paper enhances the elegant presence of Seiko.
