RECYCLOBYK 4372 not only improves light stability but also enhances processing thermal stability and long-term thermal stability. RECYCLOBYK 4373 improves processing stability and long-term thermal stability, and additionally reduces the adverse effects of impurities such as paint residues. RECYCLOBYK 4374 improves processability and mechanical properties, stabilizing and compatibilizing plastic recyclables from the adverse effects of other polymer impurities like printing inks and incompatible resins. RECYCLOBYK 4375 helps improve processing stability and long-term thermal stability, and neutralizes acids that may be mixed into the polymer. RECYCLOBYK 4376 stabilizes recycled materials from PET and condensation-type polymers by improving melt tension, re-stabilizing mechanical properties, and protecting against adverse effects from hydrolysis.

The world's first certified additive for wind power generation plants, BYK-C 8001, is a polymer-type coupling agent that improves the mechanical strength of epoxy resin.

BYK-C 8001 was specifically developed for glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin applications. This additive improves mechanical properties by bonding the fibers and the matrix. The degree of improvement depends on the combination of glass fibers and epoxy resin. As the world's first specialty chemical manufacturer, BYK currently offers additives certified by Germanischer Lloyd: BYK-C 8001.
