[Speaker]
Masahiro Fukuda, Chief Analyst, Fourin Inc.
[Key Lecture Content]
In April 2026, Toyota will transition to a new management structure. The new president, Mr. Chiku, supported management from a financial perspective as vice president during Akio Toyoda's presidency, and later promoted the development of Woven City and Arene as CFO of Woven by Toyota. Recently, he has led capital restructuring, including the privatization of Toyota Industries, and has been responsible for the group's capital strategy. Under the new president, who comes from a financial background, Toyota is moving into a phase of harvesting the results of growth investments. Optimization of capital allocation and acceleration of decision-making are expected.
This lecture will explore efforts to build a "resilient" management structure amid increasing uncertainty, focusing on five perspectives: group capital redesign, structural transformation, "SDV," "Woven City," "electrification," "product strategy," and "production technology."
