Tohoku Electric Power Company Group's Tsuuken Electric Industry has announced the development of a new "simple monitoring system" that allows remote monitoring of information from the receiving equipment monitoring control panel via web browser operation, using RTView manufactured by the American company SL.

SL Japan announced that it is using the RTView from the U.S. company SL for the development of a new "simplified monitoring system" that allows for remote monitoring of information from the power receiving equipment monitoring control panel by Tsuuken Electric Industry. The highly interactive graphic monitoring screens, custom-built interactively with the builder, utilize RTView's "Display Server" function and operate in a browser with performance equivalent to local operations. The monitoring server's monitor and the remotely installed monitoring client terminals display graphic system diagrams and real-time trend graph screens for operations. Additionally, in the event of equipment failure or transmission line abnormalities, users are notified through the illumination of a stacked signal lamp and the activation of an alarm.
RTView is a graphical visualization and monitoring dashboard construction tool for real-time data, allowing all aspects such as screen and component design, data aggregation and display on screens, alert response actions, and controls to be custom-built interactively using a point-and-click operation builder. Furthermore, with RTView's JDBC-compatible SQL data adapter, it can connect to any database immediately with just a menu selection.
