National Stadium supports entry and exit management with the SKIDATA system - Introducing real voices from the Japan Football Association, which has actually implemented it.

The National Stadium, completed in 2019, has a total of 144 automatic authentication machines installed at each gate as part of an automatic gate system, utilizing SKIDATA's entry and exit management system "Handshake.Logic." The entry and exit management system began operation during the opening event in December 2019, supporting the entry of approximately 50,000 guests on that day. To date, it has processed the entry and exit of over 150,000 guests in total.
The automatic authentication machines installed at the National Stadium are turnstile-type with three bars, capable of processing approximately 1,200 entries per hour per unit. The introduction of these automatic authentication machines reduces simple tasks such as traditional ticket checking and manual counting of attendees, while also allowing for real-time monitoring of the entry status of spectators at each gate, area, or the entire stadium. This enables flexible repositioning of support staff as needed. Additionally, by reducing face-to-face contact opportunities between visitors and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, it lowers the risk of infection while also improving the efficiency and labor-saving aspects of event management and staff allocation.
