The "cellulose-dissolving ionic liquid" we offer is a product that allows for the dissolution of cellulose under mild conditions. By stirring and dispersing cellulose from pulp, fibers, films, and resins, the anionic species in the ionic liquid infiltrate the hydrogen bonds, preventing a decrease in molecular weight and dissolving the cellulose.
