Since its establishment in 1953, Nippon Emulsifier Co., Ltd. has contributed to the healthy development of society by providing chemical products that improve living environments and help preserve and purify the natural environment. Our business is centered around three pillars: "surfactants," leveraging emulsification technology from our founding; "glycol ethers," boasting a top-class selection worldwide; and "amines," which include carbon dioxide absorbents expected to be effective in preventing global warming. Our strength lies in offering customized products developed through unique technologies. In our business development, we have identified digital, lifestyle, and environmental sectors as key areas, strengthening and expanding our operations in each sector. We have also prioritized downstream development, aiming to provide new value to our customers through enhanced product functionality and combinations. Business Activities
■Manufacturing and Sales of Surfactants and Chemical Products Using the addition polymerization of ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) as our core technology, we apply organic synthesis such as alkylation of alcohols and anionization to offer over 500 types of products. Regardless of scale, from small to large lots, we adjust the EO and PO mole numbers and freely combine the sequence to provide products with optimal functions for our customers. ◆Surfactants These exhibit functions such as emulsification, dispersion, and cleaning, and are used in a wide range of applications including pesticide formulations, paint and resin additives, and as main raw materials for detergents. We offer approximately 300 types. ◆Glycol Ethers We produce an unprecedented variety of glycol ethers in the world. Additionally, through our unique refining technology, we manufacture low-odor and low-metal glycol ethers. Dialkyl glycol ethers are used as solvents for electronic materials and in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. ◆Amines Amino alcohols and alkyl morpholines are produced exclusively by our company in Japan. ◆Ionic Liquids We offer halogen-free ionic liquids under the brand "Amino Ion."
