New stationary phases for inclusive PFAS analysis: ultra-short chain (C2, C3), alternatives, and long-chain PFAS (Restek Corporation)

A rapid and simple LC-MS/MS method for comprehensive PFAS analysis has been established. It is now possible to consistently analyze ultra-short-chain (C2 and C3), short-chain (C4 to C6), and alternative PFAS, as well as long-chain PFAS (C8 and above). Compounds containing trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), which are difficult to retain with conventional methods, can be reliably retained and analyzed using the Raptor Polar X column.
If you are experiencing issues with weak retention on reverse phase columns or other columns that exhibit strong ion exchange mechanisms, leading to overly strong retention or poor peak shapes, please take a look at this.
