Spending on 4G and 5G compatible residential CPE is projected to peak at $5.3 billion in 2025, followed by over $4 billion annually.
Fixed wireless access has seen a recent surge in supporting residential and enterprise connectivity due to the proliferation of 4G LTE and 5G Sub-6GHz networks, as well as ease of deployment. Total sales of FWA, including RAN equipment, residential CPE, and enterprise routers and gateways, are expected to increase by 7% in 2024 due to the growth of residential subscribers in North America and India, as well as a more global increase in branch office connectivity.
