TAKAYA Corporation TAKAYA Corporation
The 41st Retail Tech Japan 2025, a comprehensive exhibition of distribution information systems, showcases the latest "Distribution DX" technologies that address challenges faced by the retail industry—such as labor shortages, changes in consumer behavior, and responses to logistics law revisions. At Takaya's booth, we will display a cutting-edge anti-shoplifting solution utilizing self-sounding tags. You can experience firsthand how it contributes to labor reduction in stores through enhanced security and boosts sales. 【Introduction of Exhibits (Partial)】 Latest anti-shoplifting system "Wi-dimo" Automatically alerts when a tag exits the security area and stops immediately when it returns. It can be easily implemented in stores that cannot install security gates, achieving effective security measures. Security can be maintained without hindering the experience of the exhibited products. There are cases where sales have increased by 40% in stores that have implemented it. World's first! Self-sounding tag with looseness detection function "HAWK-GRIP FIVE" and "HAWK-GRIP FIVE COM" Detects unauthorized tag removal with unique patented technology not found in other companies. It has been highly evaluated for its strong security effectiveness, with 360,000 units introduced over three years. We will also showcase many other products. Please visit the Takaya booth and experience the next generation of security.

Wireless Product Monitoring System Wi-dimo

A groundbreaking product monitoring system unlike anything seen before.

Conventional self-sounding tags respond (issue an alarm) when they receive signals from security gates installed at store entrances and exits. This Wi-dimo uses a "reverse thinking" approach, where the self-sounding tag issues an alarm when it moves away from the signal area. (When the self-sounding tag is returned to the signal area, the alarm automatically stops.) As a result, it becomes possible to monitor display items that were previously fixed with wires wirelessly, and to make tags that only reacted at the final exit issue alarms inside the store, allowing for smoother communication with customers.

Bottle-Pro: Dedicated Self-Sounding Tag for Bottles

A bottle-specific self-sounding tag equipped with advanced 4-alarm technology.

This is a cap-shaped self-alarming tag specifically for bottles and jars. It prevents situations where only the contents are stolen. When brought close to an EAS gate, both the product and the gate will trigger an alarm. If the lock is removed without deactivating it, the product will trigger an alarm. Additionally, if someone tries to forcibly remove the product from the item, it will also trigger an alarm. The battery is replaceable.

Product Shelf Opening and Closing Detection System Show-Pro

World's first! Product shelf opening and closing detection system with forget-to-close detection feature.

In addition to the functions of the conventional product shelf door opening and closing detection system, we have added a feature that detects "forgotten closure" if a certain amount of time (3 minutes) has passed after the door is opened. If you are attending to customers and accidentally forget to lock the product shelf (showcase), a buzzer will alert you, enhancing security. When connected to an AC adapter, it will sound an alarm at a maximum volume of 110dB.

[Free Webinar] Introduction to "Environmentally Resistant Remote I/O" that can be installed in outdoor and harsh environments - A comprehensive introduction to all 23 types with wide temperature support, noise resistance, Ethernet, and RS-485 compatibility.

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

In recent years, the implementation of maintenance DX to achieve "non-stop factories" has become an urgent necessity in manufacturing sites. Amid the trend of factory IoT and data utilization, the use of remote I/O, which can remotely aggregate and collect sensor information and control signals from equipment and sensors dispersed inside and outside the factory, is gaining importance as a foundation for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring. On the other hand, the installation environment for remote I/O is not necessarily limited to control panels or well-conditioned factory interiors. There is an increasing need to collect data in harsh environments, such as outdoor equipment and conditions involving high temperatures, low temperatures, vibrations, and strong electrical noise. Conventional remote I/O systems have struggled to operate stably under such conditions, requiring measures like installation location constraints and additional protective enclosures. Environmentally robust remote I/O with wide temperature support and noise resistance can address these challenges, enabling the expansion of the scope of factory IoT and predictive maintenance to outdoor and remote equipment. In this seminar, we will introduce the lineup of Contec's environmentally robust remote I/O, the "CONPROSYS(R) Robust I/O Series," which includes a total of 23 products.

[Seminar] Know-how for Overseas Market Research and Information Gathering Using AI

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

[Speaker] Daisuke Imaizumi, President and CEO, Infra Commons Inc. [Key Lecture Content] When companies expand their overseas operations, obtaining reliable market research and regulatory information is essential. However, reliance on traditional paid databases and specialized research firms has become a significant burden in terms of both cost and time. This seminar will introduce a new approach to overseas market research using generative AI. Specifically, we will cover a wide range of use cases, including understanding the distribution structure of niche markets, extracting key points from financial reports and research materials, collecting and summarizing information in local languages, exploring potential M&A candidates and investment trends, organizing key points of EU regulations, monitoring trends by industry and country, and understanding trends in defense and geopolitical risks. For each theme, we will specifically explain the selection of information sources, efficient research procedures utilizing generative AI, and methods for verifying sources, allowing participants to gain insights that they can immediately apply to their own work. This content is ideal for those who regularly handle overseas information in areas such as corporate planning, overseas business, new business development, and research departments. [Lecture Items] 1. Introduction 2. Utilization methods by use case 3. Summary and points to note 4. Q&A
