Completely prevent water leakage damage from air conditioning piping used in hotels!

At Hotel Serve Shibuya, galvanized steel pipes (SGP) are used for the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, and there was a concern about the deterioration due to red rust and leakage from the joints. As a countermeasure against red rust deterioration and leakage, a red rust prevention pipe longevity device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, water samples were taken from the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, revealing that the water was tinted light brown, with a total iron content of 5.8 mg/l, indicating significant red rust corrosion within the pipes. Two weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the total iron content in the water within the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping significantly decreased to 0.6 mg/l. In a water sample taken four weeks after the installation, the water was nearly transparent, with the total iron content further reduced to 0.5 mg/l. It was proven that new red rust was completely prevented within the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, and the existing red rust had transformed into inert black rust. Going forward, if the use of the NMR Pipe Protector continues to prevent external corrosion at Hotel Serve Shibuya, all red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping will change to black rust, and it has been demonstrated that this piping can be extended to the lifespan of the building. At the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), which has been in operation for 53 years, the use of SGP pipes in the cooling water piping has led to frequent leaks and a very serious state of red rust deterioration in the piping. To prevent leaks caused by red rust deterioration and to extend the life of the piping, four "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed in the cooling water systems of the Main Block Building and Stage 5 Building. The British Museum in London is one of the most famous museums in the world, housing over 8 million works of art, of which 150,000 are displayed in succession. The museum is 264 years old and has issues with red rust sludge in its air conditioning hot water piping. To prevent damage to the artworks caused by leaks in the piping, it was necessary to protect the pipes.
