Henkel to showcase new automotive parts, body materials, and semiconductor materials at the 2025 YOKOHAMA Automotive Technology Exhibition.

Henkel Japan Corporation, the Japanese subsidiary of the German chemical and consumer goods manufacturer Henkel (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo, President: Seiji Asaoka), will exhibit at the "2025 Yokohama International Automotive Technology Exhibition" to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from May 21 to 23, 2025 (the entire event period, including the online ONLINE STAGE 1, is from May 14 to June 4, 2025). The exhibition will be a hybrid event combining in-person and online formats, and Henkel will participate in both.
At the Henkel Japan booth, we will showcase a new technology: a newly developed coating-type "UV-curable insulation coating for EV battery cells" that replaces conventional insulation PET films, as well as a newly developed coating-type "UV-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive" that serves as an alternative to structural adhesive double-sided tape, with demonstrations of the coating and curing automation. Additionally, we will display a wide range of the latest automotive parts, body materials, and semiconductor materials that contribute to the electrification, intelligence, comfort, and safety improvements of vehicles, based on successful adoption by vehicle manufacturers and parts suppliers.
