"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 90, we tested how small a QR code can be marked using the laser marker "LF50." The "LF series," which allows marking of text data, barcodes, and QR codes by directing a laser onto the workpiece, has made its debut! The LF series comes with all the necessary equipment packaged together and employs a Q-switched pulsed ytterbium fiber laser, enabling marking even on highly reflective materials like metals! This time, we tried marking a QR code on an aluminum plate to see if it could be recognized. Despite being a compact machine, the "LF series" laser marker is equipped with a high-output laser, allowing for clear marking on various metals. This time, we examined the changes in marking lines when marking a stainless steel plate by only changing the laser output. We explored questions like, "How much difference is there between maximum output and low output?" and "Can such a difference be attributed solely to the output?" In Vol. 110, we used the laser marker "LF50" to investigate how marking changes by altering the scanning speed. Despite being a compact machine, the "LF series" laser marker is equipped with a high-output laser, allowing for clear marking on various metals. In the previous issue, we examined the differences based on laser output, and now we present the second installment of the marking line verification project! This time, we fixed the laser output at 60% and changed the scanning speed to see what changes occur in the marking line when marking on a stainless steel plate. What is an Air Leak Tester? An "Air Leak Tester" is a device that pressurizes the inside (or outside) of a sealed workpiece with air and determines the presence of leaks based on pressure changes. When a master with no leaks and a workpiece with leaks are pressurized, the pressure on the workpiece side decreases, creating a pressure difference between the two. By measuring this pressure difference, the presence of leaks can be determined. Generally, differential pressure air leak testing is widely used, but Fukuda also offers products that utilize direct pressure leak testing and flow meters according to the leak rate, in addition to differential pressure leak testers. Since the air leak tester uses air as the measurement medium, it incurs no running costs and is environmentally friendly.
